« Luthiers Sans Frontières » is a small international NGO, a member of the CNCD (National Centre for Cooperation to the Development), and legally registered in Belgium since 2001.
LSF members as of today are from Autria, Belgium, Canada, France, Great Britain, Italy and USA. LSF projects in Cuba and Palestine are financially supported by the government of the Wallonia Region of Belgium.

London violin shops raise money for LSF UK:
In summer 2008 teams from four leading London violin shops – J. & A. Beare, Bridgewood & Neizert, J. P. Guivier, and Florian Leonhard – made four violins in support of the work LSF.

Mission

“The mission of Luthiers Sans Frontières is to provide repair services to musicians, orchestras and ensembles in areas where no local services are available. Activities of LSF are mainly oriented towards developing countries.”

Adhesion, Participation and Donations

Annual Membership Fee : 20 €
When sending money please don’t forget to mention whether you want to become amember as well as giving us your details : Surname, name, profession, address, telephone number, fax, e-mail. You will receive your membership card as soon as we get your fee and all information about LSF's activities will be sent to you by either e-mail or surface mail. Any violin or bow maker willing to perform voluntary work is most welcome. Donations of violin/bow making materials are much appreciated too. You will be personally informed about the destination of your donations.
